In an effort to address one of the most pressing needs in the country, Dave Jha and his team of 12 developers utilizes React JS, Netlify, and Gatsby to build and improve the PPE4ALL website. The PPE4ALL website has seen over 25k+ site visits from all 50 states and countries around the world. Dave also ensured the creation of a custom donation system using Stripe's open-sourced elements which have processed over $20,000 in donations. He configured and wrote a custom content management system experience that enables asynchronous site editing for the PPE4ALL Content team. His team was also responsible for implementing infrastructure to aid in supply chain management, distributing over 90,000 pieces of PPE. Finally, Jha introduced several key technological solutions that have enabled the company to maintain a more productive work culture, as well as build an IT team to manage help on a day-to-day basis.
Beyond his role as CTO, Jha also contributed to the strategic vision of the country by helping to align the group to Objectives and Key Results. He successfully ran an internship program with the company that enabled talent to return to the organization. He is also responsible for enabling corporate sponsors aligned with PPE4ALL interests to financially contribute to the company through rapid response efforts and donation systems. Jha also reached out to his network to enable video marketing campaigns to be created on behalf of the organization.
Jha began the initial efforts for PPE4ALL's parent organization, PWR4 (a registered 501c3) to take flight.
In early May, Jha resigned from his position of CTO of PPE4ALL and PWR4 due to differences in the strategic direction of PWR4 and to begin a full-time internship experience with Twitter.
Jha's efforts were written in a news article by Lehigh University linked here.
